Mauser has been producing steel furniture since 1896. According to the manufacturer, the company was among the pioneers of steel furniture in the Bauhaus era, and its first patent was “Zaunkönig”. Its historical range included barrel tables (Tonnentisch) and cantilever chairs. According to a trade catalogue, it is one of the oldest German steel furniture companies; it is also listed among manufacturers of tubular steel furniture.
The company currently operates in Korbach as a family business within the Vauth-Sagel group. At MIDMOD, Mauser furniture appears as individual pieces from the secondary market.
