Reijmyre glasbruk was founded in 1810. Around 1937, it changed ownership and turned towards art glass; its products were sold, among others, through Svenskt Tenn and the NK department store. From 1937 to 1958, the glassworks' designer was Monica Bratt, who worked with master glassblower Harald Eriksson. Her glass is distinguished by its solid colours – ruby, emerald and Venetian blue. Bratt did not sign her works; in 1952, she received the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale.
From 1964, the glassworks belonged to the Upsala-Ekeby group. Glass from Reijmyre is held, among others, in the collections of Röhsska museet in Gothenburg.
