Description
Round extendable table, Poland, 1950s
Walnut-veneered dining table, manufactured in Poland in the 1950s.
The table has been restored, bringing out the beauty of the walnut veneer with its pronounced grain and strong variation in colour; the veneer has imperfections shown in the photographs.
This model is characterised by sturdy legs, which are also veneered.
The tabletop measures 109 cm + 49.5 cm (extension) and can accommodate 4–6 people.
There is storage space for the extension beneath the tabletop.
