Description

Teak bedside table with drawers, Denmark, 1960s

A small modernist bedside table made in Denmark in the 1960s. It is crafted from teak in a warm brown tone. It has three drawers with wooden handles. The base consists of turned solid-wood legs. It was made in keeping with the traditions of Danish craftsmanship, which valued the use of natural materials, especially wood, together with attention to functional and aesthetic qualities.

The bedside table has been preserved in its original vintage condition. It has minor age-related marks, a mark inside one of the drawers, and a small chip on the upper part of the left side.
