Teak desk, Denmark, 1960s/70s
A neat little desk made in Denmark in the 1960s/70s. Finished with beautiful teak veneer and solid legs made from darker teak wood.
It has 3 drawers and beautiful solid wood handles characteristic of Danish design. It is a good, practical size.
The desk is nicely finished at the back, allowing it to be used as a freestanding piece.
The desk has undergone a complete restoration: it was stripped of its old finishes, lightly stained to even out the colour, and finally protected with several coats of hardwax oil resistant to water and dirt.
