Lage Löfdahl was born in 1938 in Helsingborg; he is a self-taught artist. He held solo exhibitions at Lilla konstsalongen in Malmö, Stadsgalleriet in Halmstad, in New York and Sarajevo, among others, and took part in group exhibitions at Liljevalchs vårsalong, Grafiska sällskapet and Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, among others.
His work consists of symbolic paintings – including car wrecks, rhinoceroses and ostriches – produced mainly as prints, and to a lesser extent in oil or acrylic. He also illustrated books. His works are held in the collections of Helsingborgs museum, Malmö museum, the museum in Kraków and Statens konstråd.
