Selected by: Habitat
Agata Pierożyńska of Habitat, an interior design studio from Wrocław, has chosen vintage pieces from the MIDMOD collection. See her selection.
The latest edition of our series was prepared by Habitat studio — a Wrocław-based interior design practice that, from the very beginning, has focused on considered design, authenticity and dialogue with space.

Habitat was founded in 2020, during a period of dynamic change and global upheaval. The studio’s founder and lead architect is Agata Pierożyńska, a graduate of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. From its very first projects, Habitat has developed an individual approach to design based on attentiveness, relationships and the individual needs of its clients.

The studio was established out of a desire to build close collaboration between the designer, the client and the space itself. The interiors created by Habitat are an eclectic mix of styles, materials and forms — always precisely tailored to their context and users. Authenticity remains a key value throughout the design process, which is why vintage elements often feature in the studio’s projects, giving new spaces character, depth and a unique spirit.

For Habitat, design is a process in which the past meets the present, while aesthetics go hand in hand with function and emotion. These are interiors created with longevity in mind — not only visual, but also meaningful — and designed to gain value over time.

Below, we present Agata Pierożyńska’s personal selection from Habitat studio — a choice of objects that best reflects the studio’s aesthetic and approach to design.
